So, I have decided to finally make myself a blog.
It will probably not have a well defined theme, and instead be just about whatever comes to my mind whenever I’m writing something. Could be about tech, could be about programming, could be about video games, I don’t know.
This post is kind of just an introduction of this website. If there is something you don’t appreciate about this website, please tell me so either by email (at srazkvt@ornithemc.net) or on the fediverse (@SRAZKVT@tech.lgbt). Especially if it is about an accessibility issue or compatibility issue.
Some things about this website if you care: It is built with hakyll (because I wanted to use haskell and other technical reasons) and I test with the following browsers:
- Chromium
- Firefox
- Epiphany
- Servo
- Dillo
- Netsurf
- W3M
- ELinks
While that list isn’t extensive, I don’t plan on supporting every web browser existing, just any that I feel someone might want to use.
By “test” I mean I check with each and see if the website is browsable without hassle. Not testing that it looks the same everywhere. It will probably look fine with the first 4 of the list, but the other 4 are there as another option.
Oh yeah! This website has zero javascript! I just don’t need it for what I want, and it causes unecessary compatibility issues between browsers. Some subpages might require javascript support, but it will not be necessary to visit the website in general, or read posts. You never know when someone might read this from Curl.
